There are many hobby motors than can be improved by rewinding them by hand. It seems like a dauting task, but it can be accomplished fairly easily with the the right tools. I've re-winded several with success. I will take you through the tools, application, and materials used to make it a very simple thing for competent modelers.

Hi even more work has been done in regard to hand wound motors. I have been working in cooperation with Sariful Islam and have used utilized his periodicals to create the wye to delta serially connected wind. This wind will attenuate the 2 pole harmonic on any motor with more than 1 pole pair thus reducing the rotor and pm loss significantly. We believe this will provide more torque and throughput power as the magnets coercive strength is not degrading as a function of ΔTemp/ ΔTime. It also reduces the THD and improves the power factor.
